School Disco
by
Vinny
Saturday 18th September, David's last performance of Chicago and his stay in
London would be over, but in true "HOFF" style, he was not going to leave
quietly. A massive club in Hammersmith called the Hammersmith Palais was
celebrating it's 5th birthday of a 80's night called School Disco. Everyone must
wear school uniform. School Disco has grown into a truely phenomenal event and
it was just about to get bigger!!! It was about to get a appearance from "The
HOFF" aka Michael Knight.
There was 2500 people all waiting that night and
David was in a PARTY mood. He had a great last show at Chicago and was ready to
set the club on fire. On arrival the 2500 crowd went wild, screams could be
heard from everywhere, and David was loving it.. Davis looked great, Von Dutch
jeans, a white vest, cool leather jacket and cowboy boots. He was about to go
in to the club but the crowd were making so much noise, he decided to give them
a little Michael Knight treatment. He moved back to my KITT and did a great pose
next to it, the picture could have been back in 1983, it looked so natural. He
then grabbed me and said to everyone "This is my friend, like his jacket?? I
designed it, great jacket aint it, i designed this a long time ago" turning me
around so the press could see my Original Knight Rider jacket with scanner
going. He then got on my bonnet (hood) to do a pose that was very familier
to me and my KITT, as he had done this on my KITT previously. The press loved it
and the crowd were going crazy, David had pure pleasure in his eyes, you could
see he was happy and he was in his element. He then stood up on my bonnet (hood)
and screamed "yeh...yeh Knight Rider". He then jumped off and proceeded to go
into the club.

Once in the club he was hanging out in the VIP area, waiting
to do his live set. He seemed very laid back and was enjoying himself. He was
talking about his new song titled "HERO" and the producers were there also. We
talked for a bit, and off he went to do his song. David is an energetic peformer
and this performance was no exception, he picked a girl from the crowd to get on
stage and really went for it. Great performance!! What a night, the crowd loved
him and he was really enjoying the night. Here are some unpublished pics of
the night, for the rest, see www.schooldisco.com
David said that he has
loads of projects coming up, more theatrical work and the eagerly awaited Knight
Rider movie. One thing is for sure, we will be seeing alot more of David and his
"RAZZLE DAZZLE".

Yours Sincerely
